Meet the Team: Jeff Hoobler- Coach, Strength and Movement Specialist. Jeff, in his own words
"For over 30 years, I have been dedicated to unlocking the full potential of athletes—from juniors embarking on their training journey to elite competitors striving for peak performance. My passion lies in understanding how the human body moves, adapts, and excels, not just in sport but in life.
As a strength and movement specialist, I bridge the gap between science and real-world performance, integrating cutting-edge research with practical training strategies. Success isn’t just about pushing limits—it’s about building resilience, preventing injury, and fostering sustainable performance.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of coaching world-class athletes, contributing to groundbreaking research, and collaborating with top-tier performance organizations. Whether refining cycling biomechanics, optimizing strength training, or enhancing movement efficiency, my mission is to help individuals move better, perform stronger, and achieve lasting success.

If you don’t know anything about the Velocity app, you can read a little bit on our website at: https://apexcoachingco.com/velocity-online-training

Basically, they are coach led workouts that have some gamification and interaction between coach and riders. You don’t need a smart trainer, but the best setup would be to have a paired heart rate monitor, smart trainer, or static trainer with a paired powermeter.
